LEVEL 2 of the Light 52 Photography course for 2016 at Solihull Arts Complex is off to a good start.
Nearly 20 members attended the first session, and others will be joining later.
Level 2 assumes a certain level of camera knowledge and understanding, and begins to explore different genres of photography. We will be looking at low-light photography, painting with light and panning, to name but a few.
It was a lively start, with an enthusiastic group made up of some from Level 1, and a number of new faces.
Level 1 covered the basics - such as the modes, aperture, shutter, ISO settings - and Level 2 builds on that foundation.
Light 52 comprises three courses - Levels 1, 2 and 3 - in 10-week blocks over the course of the year.
The next beginners course will start in September.
This year (2016) courses are on a Thursday evening (ie not Wednesday, as previously) and start at 6.45pm.
